These Terms of Usage (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Zapply Chrome browser extension, the website at zapply.jobs, and all related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
By creating an account, installing the extension, or using any part of the Service, you confirm that: - You are at least 16 years of age - You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms - You agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes:
To use Zapply, you must create an account. You agree to: - Provide accurate and complete registration information - Keep your account information up to date - Maintain the security of your password and account credentials - Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Zapply offers free and paid (Zapply+) subscription plans. Features available to you depend on your plan type. Zapply+ includes features such as GenAI-assisted field filling, parallel job applications, email application tracking, and profile ranking. We may change plan features and pricing with 30 days’ advance notice.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@zapply.jobs. Upon deletion: - Your profile data will be deleted within 30 days - Your job application history will be retained for 1 year after your last activity, then deleted - Data we are legally required to retain (e.g., payment records) will be kept for the required period
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
Zapply automatically detects and fills form fields on employer job application websites using the profile information you have provided. Important:
Zapply uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate suggested answers to job application questions based on your profile. Important:
You acknowledge that: - Zapply is a tool that assists you in the job application process — it does not apply for jobs on your behalf without your review and action - You must independently verify that all submitted information is accurate and complete before each submission - You should not rely solely on Zapply’s autofill or AI features and should review each application as if you had typed the information yourself
You agree not to: - Use the Service for any unlawful purpose - Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information to employers - Use the Service to apply for jobs you are not genuinely interested in - Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the Service’s underlying technology - Use automated tools (bots, scripts) in conjunction with the Service beyond its intended functionality - Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service or employer websites - Use the Service to collect or harvest personal information of other users - Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party agreement (including employer website terms)
You retain ownership of all content you provide to Zapply, including your resume, profile information, and any answers you write or edit.
By providing content to the Service, you grant Zapply a limited, non-exclusive license to use that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you — specifically, to store, process, and transmit your profile data to autofill job applications and generate AI-assisted answers as you direct.
This license: - Is limited to service delivery only — we will not use your resume, profile, or answers for marketing, promotional, or advertising purposes - Terminates when you delete your account and your data is removed from our systems - Does not transfer any intellectual property rights beyond what is necessary to operate the Service
Information you submit to employers through job applications is governed by each employer’s own terms and privacy policies. Zapply is not responsible for how employers use or store the information you submit to them.
The Service, including its design, code, features, and original content, is owned by Zapply LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. The Zapply name, logo, and trademarks are the property of Zapply LLC.
You retain all rights to your original content (resume, profile, answers you write). Zapply’s AI-generated suggestions do not create intellectual property rights for either party — you may use, modify, or discard them freely.
Zapply+ paid features are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, as selected at the time of purchase. By subscribing, you acknowledge that:
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. By providing payment information, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method for all applicable fees.
Monthly subscriptions. You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase date or any renewal date. After 7 days, your subscription continues through the end of the current billing period with no refund, but you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.
Annual subscriptions. You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial annual purchase or any annual renewal. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time to prevent renewal.
Token-based features. Zapply+ uses a token system for certain features (such as GenAI-assisted field filling and profile ranking). If a paid feature fails to perform due to a technical error on our end, as verified in our system logs, we will credit the affected tokens back to your account. Token credits are provided at our sole discretion, have no cash value, and are not refundable.
Virtual goods. Purchases of shop bundles, virtual items, or virtual currency are final once any portion of the purchase has been consumed. Unconsumed virtual goods may be refunded within 48 hours of purchase upon request.
How to request a refund. Contact us at support@zapply.jobs or through the contact form on zapply.jobs with your account email. Refund requests are acknowledged within 1 business day and processed within 5 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
Refund abuse. After two refund requests within a six-month period, we reserve the right to restrict future refunds, require annual billing, or decline further refund requests for that account.
EU/UK users. By checking the consent box at checkout and accessing Zapply+ features immediately upon purchase, you acknowledge that you are providing explicit consent to the supply of digital services during the 14-day withdrawal period and thereby waiving your right of withdrawal under applicable EU/UK consumer law.
We may change subscription pricing with 30 days’ advance notice delivered to the email address associated with your account. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect and receive a prorated refund for the remaining full days in your billing period, calculated as (remaining days / total days in period) multiplied by your subscription fee.
If you accept a free trial or promotional pricing offer that converts to a paid subscription, we will notify you before the trial or promotional period ends. You must cancel before the conversion date to avoid being charged.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that: - The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure - Autofilled information will be accurate on every employer website - AI-generated answers will be correct, appropriate, or effective - Use of the Service will result in job interviews, offers, or employment
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
The limitations in this section are a fundamental basis of the bargain between you and Zapply. The Service is provided at a low cost relative to the potential value of employment outcomes, and you acknowledge that Zapply’s liability must be proportionally limited.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zapply LLC and its members, officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from: - Your violation of these Terms - Your submission of false, misleading, or infringing content through the Service - Your use of the Service in violation of any applicable law or third-party agreement - Any claim by an employer related to information you submitted through the Service
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in Austin, Texas, or by telephone/videoconference if agreed by both parties.
You and Zapply agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Zapply.
Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property infringement or unauthorized access to the Service. Either party may also bring claims in small claims court that qualify.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any court proceedings (outside of arbitration) shall take place in Travis County, Texas.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Zapply regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms to any affiliate or successor entity without your consent.
Zapply shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, government actions, internet outages, or failures of third-party services.
Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
We will provide notices to you via email to the address associated with your account, or through prominent notices within the Service. You may send notices to us at support@zapply.jobs.
